Built on a decade of wholesale relationships.

Suogaa Trading is a privately owned Ethiopian wholesale and distribution company. The leadership team brings more than ten years of frontline experience in wholesale food trade, with deep relationships across both producers and the retail channels that move their products.

The business was founded on a clear thesis: in a market where strong brands routinely lose their edge in distribution, a disciplined and well-capitalised partner can dramatically accelerate reach. We work as that partner — investing in marketing, executing in sales, and reporting transparently to the manufacturers we represent.

From our base in Bole, Addis Ababa, we serve supermarkets, mini-markets, wholesalers, restaurants, hospitals, universities, government food projects, and independent retailers across the capital and Ethiopia's regional cities.

Many distributors only move boxes. We co-invest in shelf-level marketing and in-store promotion in every sub-city we operate in — at our own expense — building consumer awareness alongside product availability.

Align on coverage, pricing, and cadence.

Every partnership begins with joint planning sessions covering geographic coverage, pricing structures, promotional timelines, and target account lists. We enter the field with a shared understanding of what success looks like.

02 — Deploy
Execute daily across Addis and regional routes.

Field operations run daily across Addis Ababa's sub-cities and selected regional routes, with vehicles dispatched on flexible schedules — including off-hours when the service requirement demands it.

03 — Track
Report daily. Share everything.

Daily sales reports, customer feedback, market intelligence, and consumer commentary are aggregated through shared channels and compiled into formal weekly and monthly reports delivered to each brand partner.

04 — Iterate
Refine continuously based on what the data shows.

Route economics, promotional effectiveness, and customer handling practices are reviewed and refined on a regular cycle. The goal is consistent performance improvement, not static execution of a fixed plan.
